Florence, Tennessee River, Muscle Shoals, Wilson Lake
Northwest Alabama has plenty of waterfront real estate on the Tennessee River, Wilson Lake, Pickwick Lake, Bear Creek Reservoir, Cedar Creek Reservoir, and other small lakes, rivers and streams. The largest city is Florence, which sits on the Tennessee River. To the east is Wilson Lake, and you will find Pickwick Lake on the Mississippi and Tennessee border in the extreme northwest corner. Other communities immediately surrounding Florence are Muscle Shoals, Tuscumbia, and Sheffield. Russelville is to the south about 25 miles, near Cedar Creek Reservoir and Bear Creek Reservoir. There is a wide variety of waterfront homes, cabins and lots on these many bodies of water in Northwest Alabama.
